Like most things that we become passionate about, I've had my own journey in optimizing my gut health. Through my twenties and early thirties, I struggled with frequent UTIs (2-3 times per year). Those would be treated with antibiotics which then started a terrible cycle of recurrent fungal infections/UTIs/BV that felt like it would never end. Around the same time this all reached its peak, I had incredibly high stress levels and also developed pityriasis rosea, a rash that is often brought on by a compromised immune system. My body needed a complete reset.
After many hours of research, I found natural remedies and strategies that helped me clear the rash in 2 weeks (when it can often take months!) and kick UTIs for good. I haven't had a UTI in nearly 5 years- which hasn't happened since I was a teenager.
